Funding Food and Water

There are roughly 225 children who attend the REM ( GOYA's sister organization in Kenya )Community School established in Mitumba. Without proper nutrition, it becomes difficult to learn.  The school offers a breakfast of porridge and a filling lunch.  Provision of food relies on donations; the greater the donation, the greater the nutritional content and variety.

Feeding the children is an attainable and very important goal, and ways of funding that goal are already in progress.  GOYA sends money on a monthly basis to help cover immediate needs; generally the immediate needs are groceries for the nutrition program.  Soon enough we hope to increase monthly funding so that the food program can remain constant and nutrition filled.
